CAROMA @ DOMAYNE Alexandria, Sydney, Australia | 2009 - 2010

Once images of the ‘Ian Moore Designer Bathroom Series’ were released to the press and incorporated in marketing material, Caroma Dorf were approached by the Domayne Bathroom Centre in Alexandria, Sydney, to replicate the bathrooms in a stand alone display within their showroom. Due to spatial constraints and the structural columns within the showroom, a modified version of the bathrooms was designed.This took the form of a five bay rectilinear pavilion, with a Fowler ‘Seido’ Bathroom, Caroma ‘Cube’ Bathroom and Caroma ‘Care’ Bathroom, in the first 3 bays and incorporating a multi product display area within the remaining 2 bays.

Materials and details in these bathrooms are identical to the temporary installation, with the exception of the substitution of colour backed glass for the ‘Zenolite’ panelling.
